It is our pleasure to invite you to attend our Quarterly membership meeting on September 26, 2017 from 2pm to 3:30pm. It will be held during the InfraGard National Conference which is being held at Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center, 650 S Griffin St., Dallas, Texas 75202. All members are able to bring a guest to the meeting as well. You don’t have to be registered for the National Conference to attend the chapter meeting.

Our speaker will be Supervisory Special Agent Rick Burkhead. He will be speaking about the active shooter incident that occurred in Dallas on July 7, 2016. His presentation will focus on the coordination and collaboration efforts of the FBI with private sector partners for the 10 days following this mass casualty event. The FBI’s efforts subsequent to the event demonstrated its clear commitment and leadership to supporting its fellow law enforcement and private sector partners.

North Texas InfraGard Members Alliance
Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) Rick Burkhead has been assigned as an agent with the FBI since 1996. Currently the SSA over the Dallas Critical Incident Response Team (DCIRT), Rick manages FBI Dallas critical incident deployments to 125,000 square miles and 137 counties in North Texas.
The FBI Dallas specialty teams include; CRISIS MANAGEMENT, CRISIS NEGOTIATIONS, FIREARMS, BOMB TECHNICIANS, SWAT, HAZMAT, EVIDENCE RESPONSE, SPECIAL EVENTS, TACTICAL MEDICAL, and COMMAND AND TACTICAL OPERATIONS CENTER. From the Operational Response support, SSA Burkhead has led several major deployments in the Dallas Metroplex to include; Kaufman, TX DA murders case, Saginaw, TX Haley Dunn Kidnapping/murder case, New Boston, TX Ricin case, the Garland ISIS attacks, The Texas-7 Prison Escape, and the Dallas 7/7 Police Shootings.
SSA Burkhead has extensive investigative experience in violent crime, public corruption, and counterterrorism. SSA Burkhead was the Case Agent for Super Bowl XLV and as a certified Crisis Management Coordinator has been deployed globally to provide training and operational support on numerous Major Special Events and critical incident matters.
