If you liked our Ukraine SitRep updates, you will love this! Global Threat Overview is a three-hour seminar that, among other topics and conflicts, covers the War in Ukraine, the growing threat of conflict between China and Taiwan, the growing maritime insurgency in the South China Sea, Iran and its global network of terror organizations, the ever-volatile nature of developments in North Korea, and other topics focused on conflict, threats and impacts to the critical infrastructure of the United States. In short, this seminar is a world tour in the nature and latest developments of various threats and strategic challenges that the U.S. faces, and how they impact our critical infrastructure, political-economy and global supply chain. Particular attention is paid to how problems overseas can manifest themselves with major problems here, and by understanding the threat, it enables all of us to better prepare and mitigate what could happen.
Hal Kempfer is a retired military (US Marines) intelligence officer who has served around the world and with the broader intelligence community, and having done numerous special assignments with various law enforcement agencies like the FBI, DEA, US Customs (DHS), etc. A veteran of the Cold War, “War on Drugs”, the Gulf War (Desert Storm), Iraq War (OIF) and War on Terror (OEF), he has also trained, facilitated and exercised both foreign governments and major international corporations on major threats, along with a series of joint service and general and flag officer commands in the US and overseas. Retiring as a LtCol, he founded two very successful companies that specialized in strategic intelligence and risk management issues, particularly with all facets of what is termed Homeland Security. A frequent on-air “expert” that is regularly seen on Fox, NewsNation/Nextel, ABC, CBS, NBC and NPR networks or affiliates, Hal has become the go-to “talking head” when trying to make sense of what is happening when disaster, war or terror strikes. He has been the core developer and trainer of the Infrastructure Liaison Officer program since it began, and more recently has been regularly featured with his “Ukraine Update” webinars. The FBI will be participating in this event with up-to-date Intelligence briefings.
